    Places to stay in Agadir

Deciding where to stay in Agadir is not something that is very complicated. Due to the large influx of tourists, the range of Agadir accommodations on offer is wide and varied. Depending on their  preference and needs, visitors can choose from a plethora of places to stay in Agadir, including hotels, hostels, and guesthouses.

Agadir lodging, as in most of Morocco, is often cheaper than in Europe, but it is important to take into account when looking for budget hotels in Agadir that the categories do not correspond exactly with their European equivalents. Agadir hotels may not have the same amenities that you're used to from European hotels with the same number of stars.

Besides the hotels, there are many options for cheap lodging in Agadir, like riads, which are traditional houses which can be rented, along with guesthouses and even private homes with rooms available for rent. Stay with a local family and learn Moroccan customs and traditions first hand. This can be a different and enriching experience.

So you can see that there are plenty of choices, but now it's time for you to make your mind up! Enter the dates of your stay into minube, and you can browse all the Agadir hotel deals available then make your booking with just one click.

    Where to Stay in Agadir

    Top 1
    residence louban
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The Louban Hotel is in the center of modern Agadir near the beach, where you have a lot of great, fairly similar-looking hotels. Below the Louban building, there is a cafeteria that serves breakfast and dinner, as well as a shop, a supermarket, an internet cafe ... well, all services you'd expect near a tourist center. A double room costs about 50 euros per night, and rises slightly during the month of August. The rooms are basic, as in an Ibis hotel, not exactly famous for the great decoration, but clean and well located.

    Agadir
Agadir is the Torremolinos of Morocco, but in the old part of town (relatively old, because an earthquake destroyed virtually everything in the 60s), a bit farther away from the beaches but with a local atmosohere, you can find a cozy 2 star hotel with an attentive staff, clean rooms and a small garden.

    tamgoute hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
Tamgoute Hotel is in the modern centre of Agadir, in a neighborhood called Nouveau Talborjt that I really like, because it's more authentic than the tourist-infested beach area. It's a pleasant, family-run boarding house, and the owners are very friendly, and will give you lots of information about the city. The rooms cost 100 DH a night, and are simple, with a good quality bed, and hot water in the bathroom. The beach is a 15 minute walk away, and there are several bars and restaurants to eat. Nearby is a CTM office, which sells bus tickets to Essaouira and Marrakesh. For this price, you generally get a room with a shared bathroom.

    suite hôtel tilila
    Hotels in
    Agadir
This residence is in the centre of Agadir, in a large avenue with quite a bit of traffic. There aren't many affordable options closer to the beach. You can book in advance, but you must do it at least three weeks before arrival, and pay a deposit of half the price. In low season, excluding the month of August, a single room is 380 dirhams, and a double 440. You can add an extra bed for 100 dirhams more. Breakfast costs 36 per person, and dinner 130, but I recommend you eat at one of the many restaurants on the nearby boardwalk. In high season, add 20 dirhams to the price per room. The rooms are modern, and the higher floors have ocean views.

    la tour du sud hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The Tour du Sud is a medium sized hotel next to the main mosque in Agadir. The neighbourhood is called Nouveau Talborjt, and it's a nice place, with a lot of locals, and not many tourists. The hotel stands in a renovated building (formerly Hotel de Paris). It's a two-star hotel with clean rooms, and fairly cheap as it's farther from the beach than the big chain hotels. To get to the beach, you can either walk for 20 minutes or take a taxi for 5 (which costs a little more than one euro). There are two courtyards in the hotel, with shady trees. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you're worried about the heat, although you should keep in mind that temperatures in Agadir aren't as high as in Marrakesh.

    résidence fleurie hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The Residence Fleurie is located in the center of Agadir, about a 10 minute walk from the beach. It is part of the tourist district, without much Moroccan soul, but it is a clean and safe place where you can safely walk around at night. The hotel has 48 studios and 5 apartments arranged around a pool, and a small terrace where you can have breakfast and some snacks in the late afternoon. There is a reception that can offer you ideas for excursions or help you rent a car. There is also a computer with internet access available. The double room is about 50 euros per night, depending on the season, and the apartment is 90 euros per night.

    kenzi europa hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The Kenzi Europa Hotel is a large 5* hotel located on the August 20th Avenue, very close to the beach and shopping center. The beach offers more than six miles of sand and calm waves, with 300 days of sunshine a year. The hotel has 236 rooms and suites, each with a private bathroom, AC and a warm decor. Most have a balcony with sea view. There is a mini bar and satellite TV in each room. There are three restaurants, plus an English bar that is being renovated. The restaurants offer buffets and a la carte menu, with Italian-inspired food, as well asFrench and Moroccan cuisine. The pool is heated during the winter, and there are a number of tennis courts and an indoor gym too. It´s a perfect place any time of the year. The double room starts at 75 euros whereas the full price is 150. There are offers online in the low season.

    canaria hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The Canary hotel is in the area of Talborjt Nouveau, a little bit away from the coast and the beach of Agadir. It is a cheap hotel which has single and double rooms, for 7-8 euros per night. They're clean and tidy, the cheapest ones with a shared bathroom. Under the hotel is a nice square with several restaurants and other hotels, but the neighbourhood isn't a particularly good place to go for a walk at night; I prefer the coast. The hotel is basic, and doesn't offer breakfast or lunch, but the staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a discount if you stay for a week. Some workers stay here during the week, returning to their villages at the weekends.

    massa hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
Massa Hotel Agadir is in the Talborjt Nouveau in a nice pedestrian plaza, which has several terraces of restaurants and also services, shops, and banks. It is a convenient place to get to and from Agadir, because the agency of CTM (the country's most reliable buses) is right behind. But other than that is just a small guesthouse with cheap prices - 10 euros per night for two people, and 8 euros for one person. If you stay more than three nights, you can ask for a discount. The hotel has a terrace, but it's more to clean and dry your clothes than anything else. The beach is a 20 minute walk away. In the hotel you can find young couples looking to save money, as well as some seasonal workers.

    sindibad hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The hotel is next to Sindibad Hotel Canaria, but is better quality and more comfortable than its neighbour. First, a number of the rooms have air conditioning, while the other hotel just has fans. There's also a small pool with a terrace for sunbathing, sheltered from the street. It's in Tamri Talborjt Square in the Talborjt Nouveau district, and is a 15-minute walk from the closest beach. The advantage is that it is cheaper than the hotels on the coast. The hotel has internet access and breakfast is included in the price. Reception also offers some services like luggage storage and currency exchange.

    nejma hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The Nejma Hotel in the center of Agadir is a fairly modern hotel with western-style comforts. It's on the Avenue of the Armed Forces, only about a 10 minute walk from the beach through some calm parks. There is a 24-hour reception service, which can recommend travel agencies and car rental agencies. The rooms are simple, very clean, and roomy. There are 63 rooms, 40 of which are studios, and each one has a small lounge and a sofa. Up to 4 people can sleep in a studio. They have a TV, a small fridge, and a basic kitchen to prepare the food, but it's easier and cheap to just eat out. In the low season, prices are 400DH for single room, 500 for double, and 600 for a triple. Add 30DH for the high season.

    Agadir
The South Bay hotel is in the center of Agadir, about 10 minutes walk from the beach. It is a large hotel that offers mainly all inclusive packages for European tourists. The air-conditioned rooms are a good size with a private bathroom. It has Western decor and it seems just like any chain hotel without any charm. Downstairs has a bar and a restaurant with shows and live music at least one night a week. The hotel has a swimming pool, a sports hall, and a lot of activities organized for guests. There is a smaller pool for children. The single room is 40 euros per night, the double is 45 euros, and the suites are 70 euros. Children under 2 year stay for free, and children under 12 stay for half. Breakfast can be purchased for 3 euros.

The hotel is on the Kamal Hassan II strip, to limit the Tallborjt Nouveau district. It is a 3 star hotel with 128 rooms. Some are triple for four people, which face the street and have phonic insulation, while those which face the pool have a balcony. The beach is a 10 minutes walk away, there are several shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are simple, with inexpensive décor and furnishing, a small TV, a desk, and a private bathroom. The hotel has a restaurant with a buffet if you bought a package, and one that serves a la carte. Near the pool they also make snacks. The double room costs 45 euros per night, the triple 55 euros. There is up to 30% discount in low season depending on when you go for a visit.

The hotel has 50 rooms arranged around a pool. It's a beautiful place, with Moroccan décor and newly renovated rooms. They offer rooms with either a double bed or two singles, a private bathroom, and a table so you can have breakfast in the room. It is a three star hotel. In the high season, a double room costs 42 euros per night and a triple room costs 60 euros. You have to add 5 euros per person for breakfast, and 13 for the other meals. They also have a spa where they use traditional products like Moroccan argan oil.

    solman hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The modern Solman Hotel occupies a large building half a block long on the corner of two major avenues of Agadir. I would have liked it more if it was a small hotel in a remote seaside village, but Agadir is a major tourist destination and has to accommodate a lot of people in a lack of space. The interior is much nicer. The rooms are quiet so that you can barely hear the street traffic. They are also clean and come with a private bathroom. It is a three star hotel and you pay from 45 euros per night in low season. There is a good level of service and the taxi station is nearby.

    odyssée park hotel
    Hotels in
    Agadir
The Odyssee Park is a resort that is on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, in the town of Agadir. It is a modern resort, organised around a pool. It's guarded day and night to keep out the souvenir sellers that tend to pester tourists until they feel they have to buy something out of desperation. The hotel people are very nice, and most of the guests are French and German. It's five minutes walk from the beach, which is 6km long and one of the nicest in the country, and it's also close to some great nightlife. The rooms have a small balcony where you can have breakfast. They are air conditioned, and have been renovated recently. A double room is 60 euros, a single 40 euros, with breakfast included.

The Tiznine Hotel is a small hotel that is in the neighbourhood of Nouveau Talborjt. This is a quiet neighbourhood, where you can enjoy an authentic Moroccan atmosphere by night, and is a more pleasant place to spend a few days than the big hotels on the coast. There are several shops around, including an internet cafe, and the beach is a 20 minute walk away. The hotel charges 13 or 14 euros a night for a clean, small room for two people. The rooms have a private bathroom, or you can pay less for a shared bathroom.

    Agadir
The Azour hotel is in the center of Agadir, and is a large modern building, 15 minutes walk from the beach. You're close to the craft centre and the Talborjt Nouveau district, the new part of town, built after the earthquake destroyed Agadir in 1960. It's not a trendy place, but it's where the local people go out. To experience the typical tourist parties, you'll have to go to the beach in a taxi (20 DH). The hotel has just reopened after a major renewal and has some apartments with basic kitchens and living rooms, as well as ordinary rooms.

On arrival, you'll feel overwhelmed. The place is magical, but it's really weird at first ... it's strange and creepy. But when you open the door, you'll feel like you're hallucinating. True luxury at relatively affordable prices. An oasis in the middle of nowhere: great service, wonderful rooms, and absolute comfort.

    Agadir
Here are some pictures of Ramada Les Almohades in Agadir. It is a hotel designed for relaxation, located in the heart of a wooded park, where you can listen to the birds. But it's also very convenient, just under 1 km from the city centre. The rooms are simple and functional, bright and clean. There's an international restaurant and a small snack bar by the pool. The welcome is warm, and the atmosphere is friendly. Negatives: it's a long way to get to the beach, and the corridors are a little sad ...

The hotel de la Baie is in the Talborjt Nouveau district, which is a lively area by night, but without too many tourists. The neighbourhood has a number of small hotels, which are popular for the Moroccans who work in the major beach resorts. They're clean, quiet, and very cheap. At the Hotel de la Baie, you can get a double room for 10 euros a night. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, and the bus station isn't far away. The beach is a 20 minute walk. The manager is a nice guy who knows the region, and will gladly tell you about the various points of interest around Agadir.

    Agadir
The Studiotel Afoud located in the center of Agadir, is a fairly modern hotel with 70 rooms. The studios have a small fridge and a kitchenette so you can prepare meals, but eating in a restaurant costs about 5 euros. If you go to the market, you will pay the tourist price for all your fruits and vegetables, plus with the cooking time, I don't know if it is worth it to pay more for a kitchen. For breakfast it is convenient. It is a tall building with balconies on the top floors with views of the ocean and the rest of the city. Downstairs has a pleasant garden with a swimming pool.

The hotel was renovated in 2013, and is great in terms of the quality / price ratio. The restaurant is great for dinner, better than the other nearby options. There's also a beautiful pool, original decor, and a breakfast buffet included in the price. I'll be back, and I hope to find the same quality in the future. Free parking.

When I went to Morocco, I stayed at the Occidental Allegro Agador. Morocco is a wonderful country with very nice people and, due to the low prices, you can fulfill your dream of feeling "rich" at a luxury hotel with private beaches. It was a beautiful and inexpensive holiday destination and I had the chance to try plenty of new things (jet ski, camels, quads, souks, etc.).

The Atlas is located on the 20th of August Avenue, near the 6 kilometre long Agadir beach, a favorite for tourists. It is a nice, recently opened hotel, with a large pool and spa. It is a fashionable place where the rich Moroccans come to have a drink at night, just note the number of luxury cars parked in front! The hotel is built on nearly 2 acres of ground with tropical gardens. It has a total of 335 rooms, a nightclub and a meeting room for professionals. There are three restaurants, so if you spend a week as part of an all inclusive package, do not worry, there are lots to choose from. The clientele is French, Russian, German or British. It is a five star hotel.

I stayed in Sofitel in Agadir, and would happily give it 10 out of 10! The room - in my case, a suite - was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom with jacuzzi (optional, costing 15 euros more). They make the bed every morning. There are all kinds of activities, including several pools - the largest 15m x 5m, tennis, karting ... I could find no faults at all with the service, which was just perfect. There are four restaurants, two of which have a Michelin star, and they aren't that expensive. The city is a lovely place, too, with three beaches. It receives some 30,000 tourists a month.
