In Gibraltar there are several hotels, all located in the city center except The Caleta Hotel, and that is its great advantage. You are only 10 minutes from the center on bus with No. 4 passing by the door. On the way back you get a view of the Mediterranean and the coast of Malaga from your room. The best addition to the view is the peace and quiet, and you can have a beer in any of its terraces while reading, sunbathing or working. It has an excellent Italian restaurant and meeting rooms large enough for 200 people to organize events. I also find it perfect for a family as it has a pool, gym, shop, hairdresser and its location in the Catalan Bay beach.
This 3 star hotel situated in downtown, but I do not need to say it because it is tiny, is a classic hotel and they say that it is best known of the rock. It is situated next to the main shopping center, with a museum and tourist information office. Main Street is just 30 m away and the restaurants in the marina are 500 m. away. The cable car station is 1 km away and the eastern beach is 2.5 km. The rooms are cozy, fully furnished in classic English style.
The O Callaghan Eliott (Gibraltar - Gibraltar - Gibraltar) is along Woodland Governor Square Off Main Street. The hotel is one kilometer from Gibraltar airport. There are many historical attractions that are 2 kilometers away, including the Gibraltar Museum, World War II, the tunnels and a Moorish castle constructed in the year 1333. The restaurant overlooks the Strait of Gibraltar, and serves Mediterranean and continental breakfast as well as dinner. It has meeting rooms and spaces for a beauty salon and gym. All rooms have three direct dial telephones, wireless Internet access and satellite TV.
The Rock Hotel is located right in the front on the beach so it offers one of the best views and panoramas of the Strait of Gibraltar as well as the coasts of Spain and the mountains of Morocco. Each of its rooms are uniquely decorated. It has an outdoor pool and a coffee bar.
