    Motel One Berlin-Hackescher Markt
This hotel is an excellent value for the price. It is very new so the design and decor are very modern. Its location is unbeatable (Berlin-Mitte) as it´s only a 50m from the Alexanderplatz station. The area offers many places to eat and have breakfast if you don´t want to in the hotel since the breakfast buffet is a bit pricey. When we went the receptionist who greeted us was from Cadiz, so language was not a problem. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended (its 2 stars are equivalent to an average 4 star hotel in Spain). The hotel belongs to the Motel One chain and has two other hotels in other areas of Berlin.

    Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin
The Hotel Adlon is a legendary hotel in Berlin. It is located in Paris Plaza, at the end of the prestigious Unter Den Linden. The first Hotel Adlon was built in 1907 in the original place of the Redern Palace. Lorenz Adlon was a businessman and his hotel became one of the most famous men in Europe before World War II. Charlie Chaplin and Marlene Dietrich stayed there and since it stands right next to the American, French, Russian and English Embassies, it was a favorite place for journalists too. It remained open during the war and served as a military hospital but it burned down in 1945. What they rebuilt it in 1997 after the reunification of the two countries, it was a great success. Its greatest publicity was perhaps when Michael Jackson almost dropped his son out of the window!

    nhow Berlin hotel
On July 15 I traveled with my boyfriend to Berlin, Germany. We stayed at the hotel NHow Berlin (there are many NH chains so we had some trouble finding it because the GPS took us to other NH) and we loved it, the deal was spectacular. The room was designed in pink and each elevator was painted in different colors (green, blue, white, pink ..). The city was full of figures of bears (I loved to go looking for them on the streets and take pictures!) It is within walking distance of the Berlin wall, very nice indeed. I encourage you to go!

Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz
One of the best things about this hotel is its location as it is right on Alexanderplatz in the heart of East Berlin. It's right next to the TV tower, and the building where it is housed is a landmark building in Berlin. Right next door are the Kaukof Galleries, which is a very famous chain of department stores in Germany. It´s a 5 minute walk to the Museum Island and Berlin Cathedral. Going to the Museum Island is also accessible by the Jewish Ghetto, a neighborhood that is really worth a visit. A few minutes away, but going to the left from the hotel, there is the Nikolai Quarter, where Berlin emerged, and where you can see the City of East Berlin. The hotel has 37 floors, 36 rooms, 1 dining room, and on the 37th floor is the Casino Berlin. The lobby is large, modern, and has a bar. There are 8 lifts, divided into 2 groups of 4. Four of them go up to the 21st floor reception and the other 4 only rise from the 22nd to the end. The rooms are modern and the most charming thing is the shower, fully integrated into the room. There is no actual bathroom but there is an all marble shower and a sink with a mirror and glass through which we see the inside of shower. The hotel is good but there isn´t much privacy in the bathroom. You also have a modern desk with internet access and a double wardrobe with a wet bar. The views from the hotel are spectacular and you can see all of Berlin. We were on the 23rd floor and the views were of East Berlin. The dining room, located on the first floor is huge with small tables. I recommend this hotel. If I go to Berlin, I´ll definitely return.

    Innside by Meliá Berlin hotel
The Innside Premium Hotel Berlin is one of those places to relax. It´s a place where modern design does not conflict at all with the most friendly and welcoming service. It is less than 200 meters from the Ostbahnhof station, the main station in East Berlin and three miles from the Brandenburg Gate. That is, the location is excellent, but at the same time it is in a pretty quiet neighborhood, in the heart of East Berlin. Its modern rooms do not neglect any detail and are each decorated differently. The entire hotel is decorated with fantastic graffiti that gives an original touch. The hotel has a gym and sauna for relaxing. One of the best parts of the hotel is the sunroom where you can have a continental breakfast buffet. In summary, this hotel is very comfortable and perfect for resting a few days. Do keep in mind though that it isn´t super cheap since it costs about 120 euros for a double room. For one who is used to always sleeping at campsites and hostels, I am grateful that such confortable hotels exist even if I can only afford it a few times ...

You can get there by Line U1 U-Bahn station exiting at Schlesisches Tor, or by the bus 265. There is a 24 hour front desk, but you can't check in before half past four in the afternoon. East Side Hotel
The East Side Hotel Berlin is located opposite the East Side Gallery. Over 100 artists covered the nearby wall with graffiti on the former East side, which was banned during the dictatorship. The East Side is a building without charm, and pretty basic for what you're paying. But it has a good location in the neighborhood of Friedrischain, Simon Dache Street is 10 minutes walk and has dozens of bars, restaurants and other nice places to go and especially for Sunday brunch. The rooms cost 95 euros for a double, 130 euros for a family up to four people. The place has good views of Oberbaum Bridge and the river Spree.

    Lux 11 Berlin-Mitte
After seeing the photos, words aren't necessary, but nevertheless: the Lux Eleven is a designer hotel in Mitte City, Berlin, the district that is most like the centre of the city (Berlin doesn't really have a centre), and is famous for its fashionable shops. This hotel, composed of several buildings and endless corridors in pink and white, fits in well with the surrounding area. The room has everything - including bathrobes and two pairs of slippers - and overlooks the TV Tower (okay, so it's not the Eiffel Tower, but it's got its own character). There's a great Asian restaurant on the ground floor. The breakfast is rich and varied, especially in terms of the breads. One nice detail, which I think can be seen in the photos, is that they leave a can of pickles on the bed to welcome you. A great place to stay.

    Youth Hostels in Berlin
    citystay Hostel Berlin Mitte
On a low budget trip, three friends and I went to Berlin and found at a hostel called CityStay. We were very lucky because besides being primely located, the price was incredible. It is located in the center of Berlin directly across the street from Alexander Platz and a 2 minute walk from Museum Island! When my friends and I embark on an adventure, we´re always looking for good location and a good price and this hostel was definitely the best choice. It was a building built in the late nineteenth century and was restored with single rooms or ones for up to ten people. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was really good and the staff was very friendly and happy to recommend the best places in the area and the best places to go clubbing! Breakfast was a table full of breads and cereals, cheese and ham, tea and coffee. Internet available and a quite cozy lobby which was perfect for meeting more people. There was also a small bar serving drinks at great prices and it created a perfect environment to start the evening. This place can be an excellent choice for travelers who want to visit Berlin in a more youthful way by spending less and enjoying it more!

    The Westin Grand Berlin hotel
The Westin Grand Hotel Berlin is situated on Friedrichstraße, at the corner of Unter den Linden. Friedrichstraße is one of the most exclusive streets of the city and ends with the Check Point Charlie (a point of interest) and the wall museum. It's a good location, but the city is so large that you can't see everything on foot from any hotel. It's a 5-star hotel with 400 newly renovated rooms, some with views of Unter den Linden and the beautiful linden trees, all rooms are very luxurious and the central hall recalls the golden age of this district before WWII. Rooms cost 150-450 euros/night, the cheaper ones are on the opposite side of Unter Den Linden. There's a gym, sauna and even an indoor pool and luxury stores are just down the street.

    The Circus Hotel
I stayed there with three friends in the middle of December. It was an unforgettable experience. The hostel was clean, the receptionists very polite, a good breakfast in the morning and a good bar / pub downstairs. Since it was Christmas there were a few more special touches in the rooms. They even left us chocolates in the bathroom with a note wishing us a good Christmas. The price is pretty cheap too. It was 21 euros a night for each of us (with a shared bathroom).
