The Hotel Nacional de Cuba, which was opened on the 30th December, 1930, is one of the most traditional and emblematic hotels in Havana. Its luxury, elegance, distinction and first class services remain intact after six decades of respected leadership in the Cuban hospitality industry. It is a National Monument was declared as World Memory by UNESCO. Al Capone used to run the whole show from here, and countless celebrities throughout history have passed through its doors. Villa El Mojito
In Villa "El Mojito" you find splendid people, generous and kind. The house has two rooms for rent, in each room, two queen beds. The rooms are very clean. The breakfasts are abundant: Natural juice freshly squeezed, omelets, natural fruit, coffee, milk, bread, butter, dinners are also plentiful, always accompanied with rice and beans, taro, chicken breas. Each different day. They offer a host of activities and if you need to look for a taxi to go to the beach the management will help, including salsa lessons at home! They are very nice people and at home treat you like one more. And every night they offer A MOJITO! There's no mojito like Juanito makes!

    Casa Alberto - Piso 20
We spent 15 days in Cuba and we stayed the whole time in private homes, where we had no problems. In particular, we recommend the house where we stayed in Havana. Alberto is an artist and just started (very badly) renting a room in his house. His apartment is on the 20th floor so you can imagine the views and it has beautiful scenery as well as being very clean ... maybe it's a home "less Cuban and more European" than others, but he loves to talk about Cuba and he is such a wonderful cook that the Cuban experience is 100%. Price 25 CUC per night San Rafael Street, apartment 967 205 (between Hospital and Sword) Mobile: 5378739346 E-mail: albertopiso20@gmail.com it is in Central Havana, near the Malecón and about 15 minutes walk to Old Havana, a nice little walk. In short, a highly recommended place to spend a few days in Havana. Alberto is also a good conversationalist and a great guide. Enjoy the experience!

    Motel Lagos de Mayajigua
It is a motel with a pool of spring water, a quiet place to spend a day in a different way, you can go to just visit or stay in one of their clean and comfortable rooms. The place is beautiful.
    Hotels in Varadero
    Varadero Internacional Hotel
To begin I'll start by saying we spent six days at this hotel, and every day we had a free show, various prosessional shows which were presented by the artistic group from the hotel. A cozy hotel in the style of the Caribbean with calm and beautiful beaches, free buffet 23 hours a day, and open bar all day. Spacious and comfortable rooms with sea view. In addition the hotel has laundry service, internet, call center, gift shop, tennis court, table tennis, pool, snooker and volleyball, an excellent place where you can relax and enjoy yourself with friends or family.
    Hotels in Baracoa
    Villa Maguana hotel
When you think about a Cuban beach resort, an all inclusive resort in Varadero comes to mind, one of those where you wear a wristband and drink as many Mojitos as you can. Villa Maguana could not be more different than this. Not only because it's in the most inaccessible corner of the island (You can reach [poi = 104878] Baracoa [/ poi] by air or six hours from Santiago by car), but because it's a small, quiet hotel with few rooms to relax and enjoy the Caribbean without overcrowding.

    Ambos Mundos Hotel
The most interesting thing about this hotel is no doubt that Ernest Hemingway stayed here whenever he visited Havana. There are pictures of him in the lobby and in the cafeteria and on the 5th floor is his room that you can visit only for 2 Cubas pesos. The guide tells you many curiosities about his visits to Havana, his affairs etc.

    Tryp Habana Libre Hotel
The Tryp Habana Libre Hotel (once the Havana Hilton) has become the most popular hotels in the Cuban capital. Although it's clear that the hotel needs some restoration, this is more than made up for by its great location. The views are stunning: the rising sun woke me every morning offering me a unique view of the capital in the morning. The rooms are spacious and airy, with wide, comfortable beds. The bathroom is fine, if a little old. Throughout the hotel there's a special emphasis on the works of Cuban painters and sculptors. The staff are always very friendly and willing to help. Best of all is breakfast, where Spanish chefs oversee every detail and serve up a variety of juices, fruits, cereals, breads and pastries, although the coffee is quite poor. But I don't care about that, or the slightly ageing decor ... I'll be sure to come back here!

    NH Parque Central Hotel
I stayed at this hotel for 4 days in October 2011, and I can only say it was an amazing stay. We stayed in the Tower, which is an annex to the old part of the new buidling. The room was lovely and very modern, and the bathroom was big and fully equipped. In general, all the facilities were amazing. The views from the rooftop are some of the best you´ll get (central park, the Capitol, the Galician center ...) incredible!
    Hotels in Santiago
    Melia Santiago de Cuba hotel
It might seem like a blue monster or an architectural marvel of its time ... it all depends on how tired you are when you see it. Personally, I have a soft spot for the early 90's style that inspired the Cuban architect, Choy. Here you can enjoy a gastronomic paradise with huge swimming pools, more typical of a luxury resort than a city hotel. The rooms aren't too bad; like other hotels, they need reform, but not urgently. Don't expect a sea view - you're too far for that - but you can see the mountains and the north of the city, a huge green expanse dotted with buildings. The breakfast is huge, with many varieties of bread, pastries, juices, all kinds of fruit, hot dishes and tortillas made to order. The location is not in the centre of town, and you'll have to walk a kilometre to get to the centre, but on the other hand, it's close to the new part of the city, with the Antonio Maceo Park. It may not have the charm of Casa Granda, just opposite the Cathedral, but it is functional, comfortable and friendly.

    Casa Granda
As central as possible. Reads the brochure or the website, and see the word "downtown". Imagine you just set foot on the street and are in the heart of the city. In 90% of cases it's not like that in this case at this Santiago de Cuba, where the lucky get room on the street and have a wonderful view of the Plaza Céspedes. the Cathedral and the oldest house in Cuba, Diego Velasquez. A luxury. For the less fortunate, with room on the other side, they can always enjoy the sight and sound of the Casa de la Trova. And the even less fortunate, like me, will have to resign themselves to enjoy the view of the square while sipping an authentic mountain coffee on the terrace, while groups of musicians under the balustrade sing songs waiting for the odd bill or coin. The very French-style building, built in 1914 and was frequented by novelist Graham Greene and is easy to recognize its corners on the novel "Our Man in Havana." It seems that little has changed since the writer stayed here, the environment looks the same and the furniture and facilities are safe. It is a good stop to alleviate its shadow Santiago and heat to hydrate before following the visit to the city.

    Villa Los Angeles
My partner and I were there in Viñales a few weeks ago and we loved it. It's a beautiful place with incredible natural surroundings where you can do many activities. I would definitely recommend it to all travellers to Cuba. I'd also recommend the house where I stayed, Villa Los Angeles, which is located five minutes from the center of Viñales. We had the house to ourselves. It was a newly built house with all new appliances and furniture, with a porch, lounge, dining room and kitchen. The bedrooms was spacious with a closet where we could keep clothes, and it has AC and an ensuite. The bathroom was very nice and spacious with hot and cold water at all times. The owner lived behind the house so we had service at all times for anything we needed. They served us meals that were great and also helped arrange all kinds of tours. We recommend this house for privacy, location and the good attention received. Here's the website: http://elrincondeamauri.zxq.net
    Hotels in Varadero
    Sol Elite Palmeras Hotel
This hotel is very well located on one of the best beaches in Varadero. We spent a lovely few days there, the only problem was that the bungalow area is quite far from the hotel but it has a train that passes every moment to move you from one place to another. It is suitable for couples and families. The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful and through this train you can go to the other 2 resorts of the same chain.

    Paradisus Varadero Hotel
The Hotel Paradisus Varadero is a wonderful site in the city of Varadero in Cuba. It is a lovely place overlooking the sea, with beautiful views. You won't regret staying here!
    Country Houses in Habana
    Casa villa magui
I would also recommend Magui House in the center of Habana, which is near the boardwalk and minutes from Old Havana. It's a big house, where each room is in a separate area, kind of like a hotel. We were on the third floor, which consisted of a balcony with views, an air conditioned room with TV, refrigerator, dining room and kitchen. An affordable price and the owner is very friendly and talkative, transparent and willing to help us in whatever we asked for. The perfect place to spend a few days in Havana.

    Hostal Ignacio&Jenni
I loved it! It is only a 2 minutes walk from the beach, and I spent the entire day enjoying the very quiet area. The house was great, unpretentious, and very comfortable. At night just down the street, there is a bar where they have great shows. I had a great time with the beach nearby. I will undoubtedly return.

    Los Jazmines Hotel
The Jasmine Hotel has a well deserved reputation for offering excellent views of Vineyard Valley. In my opinion, this reputation is totally deserved. Even if you are not staying at the hotel, it is well worth taking a taxi from the village (it should not go for more than $3 or $4 round trip) and watching the sunset from the fantastic pool. It is this time the best to contemplate the wonder of nature that surrounds this area.
    Hotels in Habana
San Felipe y Santiago de Bejucal Hotel
We arrived at this hotel by chance as we had booked a lower-rated one and we ended up changing due to some problems in the first one. The change turned out great as this one provided exceptional service, spacious and comfortable rooms, and an unforgettable a la carte breakfast. Great location in the center of Havana near the Plaza Vieja and the Plaza de San Francisco de Asis.

    Oscar Jaime Rodriguez
Oscarito, is what they call this place in the village. This house is the house of climbers in Viñales. Here, you have everything one can aks for- a comfortable and cozy accommodation. That's it. Oh, I forgot, there are some curious guests we saw in the morning who put on a naked show in the mud: Pigs! I asked Oscarito if they were "nasty", and I had to be clever and clarify the different meanings in Spain of "pig", "piggy" and other words used when we refer to the dear "pigs" . There is nothing like Oscar Jaime's house to enjoy good conversations. Here, you can speak softly while you rejoice with a good cigar, enjoy the delicious food and delight in the building with air conditioning, building the adventures in your mind that lie just around the way of the limestone walls of the corners of the Viñales Valley.
