Dubrovnick is full of exciting places, from the ruins found in the old part of the city that are impressive and is a city full of shops and restaurants where you can eat, although a bit expensive. Next to the ruins is the beach, which isn´t too big. The islands are also very nice, and you have a number of beaches for nudists. These trips can be arranged from the old part of town very easily. If you do not want to spend a lot of money, you can go to the hostel Villa Banana, Majis and they will pick you up from the bus station. The owners don´t speak very well but they are good people.
The Kamara Dubrovnik is completely renovated, so your stay in the city will be comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are well-equipped, spacious, and very clean, with a private bathroom. Some rooms have large balconies overlooking the sea. The entrance is a little strange, as you have to enter an alley with stairs (don't worry - it's not a dangerous area), but as soon as you walk into reception, you'll feel at ease. Breakfast is a buffet but, at least when I was there, the kitchen made us what we wanted to order. It's 1.5 km from the walled city, about 20 minutes walk to the sea, although if you prefer, you can take the bus that stops outside the hotel. As for the price, you have to remember that Dubrovnik, like any tourist town, is very expensive. So this hotel is good value, but only if you compare it against other hotels in the city.
Great three star hotel with 200 rooms. If there's something about this hotel that stands out it's its spacious rooms and long hallways. The hotel is spread out over 3 floors and a basement where they have dining areas and meeting rooms. If you want a luxury hotel this isn't the place, it's your typical three star hotel, but it's in a beautiful setting. But, this hotel has a problem, which is that out of the 200 rooms half or more give very small garden areas and narrow, so the views are null and clarity of the rooms also. If you can and you fight with the Italian request a pool view or sea view because I assure you it is worth it and the interiors are very sad. Otherwise the hotel as general assessment and taking into account the country where it is, who recently came out of a war, that whole area of the hotel were places inhabited by refugees give it a 10, but above all for their treatment, the Dubrovnik people in general is 10 people.

Apartment Antonia is very close to the Dubrovnik walls. It's a two-room house that's very cheerful and has a great view of the old part of the city. We got there after two weeks of sleeping in shelters and we found paradise. It's really a very simple apartment and to get to it you'll have to go up a few stairs, but it's worth it. It is also very cheap and the area is very quiet which is welcome in a city like Dubrovnik which is saturated with tourists day 24 hours.
This building has six apartments of varying sizes, the largest being for five people. It has a great location, with a terrace overlooking the sea. You'll find a mini kitchen, bathroom, and terrace - no-frills, but very nice. You're 15 minutes walk from the city, 50 metres from the beach, and at a great price - in summer, two people can have the studio for just 70 euros a day.
The retired cruiser is now a "botel", ie a floating hotel. In Croatia, we stayed in two different ones, and it's a very interesting experience, and cheap, too. The ship is huge, but the rooms are somewhat small, as you can imagine, they are cabins, all with shower and toilet, as well as air conditioning and heating. I recommend it 100% for young people, or people who do not mind sleeping in small rooms at a super cheap price. Given that any accommodation in Dubrovnik is pricey, this option, just 3 kilometers from the center, is really worth it. About 15 per head per night, and all basic needs, cleaning, etc ... perfect!
Want to spend a holiday in Croatia? This is where you need to go. Dalmatin apartments are in the town of Viganj, on the peninsula of Peljesac (Croatia). AC, wi-fi, flat screen TV with satellite, stone terrace with views of the island of Korcula, bar with stools, rattan chairs, etc ... And at a good price. It's not expensive. You have the possibility to use the kitchen , as well as the fireplace-barbecue. They also have bicycles for its guests for free for one or two hours a day, or if you prefer to rent them, they give you a lower price than any other bicycle rental place. Best of all, is that from Viganj you can make many day trips to places like any place as Ston Peljesac peninsula, or visit the islands of Korcula, Mjlet, Lastovo, the Elafiti islands, the city of Dubrovnik, Split, Mostar, etc ... There is no need to look for accommodation. Definitely a place that I recommend if you want to visit Croatia, and I encourage you to look at the web page where you can see photos of the apartments or information about these places. Hope you like it!
