    Where to stay in Chile

    Hotels in Panguipulli
    Magic Mountain in Huilo Huilo
It has a Forest Snow Centre and Snow Park at the top of the Mocho Choshuenco volcano. There is a short bike tour, trekking and volcano climbing, as well as trekking trails through different forests. It has a canopy, horseback riding tours, and a spectacular ferry ride on the Hua-Hum that sails 26 kilometres across Lake Pirehueico. This lake is one of the few lakes in the Native Patagonian Forest and along its banks you can get to Patagonia Argentina, San Martin de los Andes, Junín de los Andes and San Carlos de Bariloche, and also return back to Chile on the same path. I had a great time, and would go back anytime. At the brewery, there are paths to the spirits, where you can see deer and Pudu. It's a beautiful place to connect with nature with water drops, blue sky, and the smell of wood.
    Bungalows in Panguipulli
    Cabañas Los Robles
A place that is enchanting and for rest, as it has cabins managed by their owners who are nice, surrounded by an oak forest. Near attractions in Panguipulli. There are not enough vacation days to know this place. Recommendable.
    Vacation Resorts in Tomé
Tome, Comuna de la Region del Bio Bio
A quiet town located a few kilometers from the city of conception. The modern touch escapes this city but it preserves its ancestral magic. A beautiful town with buildings which make Tome an icon commune .

    Hotel Riñimapu
This is a sweet place where man and nature sink into a magical union, on the shores of Lake Riñihue and at the exact point where the Rio San Pedro flows out from a diverse flora and fauna that invite you to admire and be part of this hotel's charm. It's located in the commune of Panguipulli, an insert in Northern Patagonia and the shores of Lake Riñihue. This magical place is perfect for relaxing and really disconnecting. It has 17 comfortable rooms with a beautiful view of the hotel gardens and lake. It's an ideal place for meetings and conversation. It features an excellent restaurant and bar for the comfort of our guests. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing trips, rafting, kayaking, sunbathing and swim in Lake Riñihue with flora and fauna, and tennis are some of the activities that can be performed at this charming hotel in northern Patagonia. As trails, I recommend visiting the Salto de Huilo-huilo, the thermal baths, the city of Valdivia, among other places.
    Campsites in Santa Bárbara
    Altos del Bio Bio
It is an area mostly inhabited by the Mapuche ethnic community, it is very quiet and warm, surrounded by nature with beautiful flora and fauna. There are several campsites around the Bio Bio river. We came to one which was attended by a Mapuche family friendly and where one was integrated into the life of field. There many places to go out for a walk. Here is the perfect place to forget about the city and enjoy nature.
    Hotels in Puerto Montt
    Hospedaje Maria Fresia hotel
For about 10 euros you can get to sleep and have breakfast in this house, close to the bus station . It is definitely not a place for princesses but the price / quality ratio is very good. The rooms are good, they all have TV and WiFi, and the owner, an older lady was great. I recommend it for backpackers (in this part of Chile it is cheaper to stay in houses that rent rooms in hotels and supply is very high in these houses).
    Hotels in Concepción
    La Estancia Penquista hotel
For all visitors that come for the first time you need to find a good place to stay, I recommend The penquista, which offers student pensions in the winter and in the summer offers tourists rooms for an offer that is below that of the area, which is $ 8000 Chilean pesos, just under 17 dollars. The place is warm, clean and safe. Aunt Anita that treats you with love and if you want something to eat you can chat with her. She offers the service at a reasonable cost. In addition to those traveling during the year there is a room if a tourist wants to stay. The place is 5 minutes from the main bus terminal in the city.
    Hotels in Santiago
    IberoRental hotel
The apartments are located in the Alsace a quiet street in the heart of El Golf, near restaurants and within walking distance of supermarkets, banks, metro, parks and the Golf Club- Lions. The apartments are ideally suited for medium to long term stays and for business people. It is in a largely residential area, with lots to do such as shopping and dining, and is certainly in one of the safest areas around Santiago. It is very near Isidora Goyenechea avenidad near the main building, which has numerous restaurants and bars. Paeople say that it has the best atmosphere in Santiago!
    Hotels in Santiago
    Hotel Plaza Londres
At the bottom of the Plaza de Londres you'll find this establishment, which offers services beyond the basic hostel packages. Room rates: space in a hostel room goes for $20, and a single costs $40. Prices go up to $83 for a room for four people. There's a kitchen area, with internet and breakfast included. It's in a very quiet area with no noise. The decor is really rather basic and no-frills, but it's a good place to rest.

    Bellavista Hostels
I regret not having made a comment about this earlier, as I really think it's the best place to stay in Santiago. The staff are friendly, and it has a kitchen, a TV room, a living room, and two rooftop terraces where you can interact with the other customers. It's located in Bellavista, one of the most popular parts of the city. Take a room that doesn't face the street, as it can get quite noise. Highly recommended.
    Hotels in Punta Arenas
    Ilaia Hotel Nature & Yoga
This is a hotel with a super-inspiring and enjoyable atmosphere that transports you to a haven of peace. Good Kharma breathes as you enter the hotel. The place a special charm that makes you feel at home. Breakfast is amazing and very filling. You receive input from motivational quotes and inspiring from the reception. Very friendly service from the staff. Environment with wood in rooms that do move you to a very special family environment. There is a small room at the top overlooking espectaculares.Wifi free. A 'highly recommended place
    Hostels in Valparaíso
    Bellavista Hostel
One of the most charming hotels in the city of Valparaiso. Very adequately combines art with a relaxing haven. The entire hotel, from the entrance to the guests´room is painted in shades of blue. To summarize, it´s a different type of place, very unique, and you can stay at a reasonable price.
    Hotels in Frutillar
    Cabañas San Pedro
In the Lake district in southern Chile, the best choice for sleeping are private homes that rent rooms. They are affordable, 10-15 euros (you can find more expensive ones) and the Chileans in this area are known to be kind and gentle people (and I can vouch for this). In this case, the house was new, all rooms were rented (the owner lived in the house next door), the price was cheap (12 euros), it was well located (near the centre and on the same street that takes you to the lake), it had a garage, the owner was a delight ..... If you pass by this town, do not hesitate to stay here.
    Hotels in Providencia
    Meridiano Sur Petit Hotel
The Merdiano Sur Petit Hotel is a lovely place located in Santiago in the area of Providencia. It's a nice and quiet area a couple of minutes from the metro. The hotel is very nice, creative and makes the stay very charming. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel features a patio where you can enjoy fresh air and has computers in case you don't carry your laptop along. It has photography books and guides like Lonely Planet and Rough Guides to review. The environment and location are highly recommended, both for working visits or to go alone. There is a quality breakfast which exudes a magical, poetic air with quotes on the walls. The rooms have a personal name number.
    Hotels in Puerto Varas
    German House
My corner in the south of the world is my home, of German design, typical of the structure in this zone that was settled by Germans. It has only one twin room with private bathroom, wifi, and internet. And in the morning there is a tasty Southern breakfast with bread and homemade jams. We are 1 block from the plaza, casino and lake. Puerto Varas was recently named the city with the best quality of life in Chile, it has a lovely lake Llanquihue and 2 volcanoes named "Calbuco" and "Osorno". It is the starting point for many activities. In this part of Chile's Andes mountains fall into the ocean. It is the end of "crossing lakes", which takes you from Chile to Argentina and vice versa.
    Hotels in Santiago
    Hotel Riviera
It is centric and in front of the Cerro Santa Lucia, four blocks from the Plaza de Armas, three blocks from the Palace de La Moneda. One block away is the Santa Lucia metro station. Good service with comfortable rooms and internet free of charge. Double room with breakfast was 48$. very recomendable.
Apartments in San Pedro de la Paz
    Complejo Olas
Complejo Olas (complex waves) is a large apartment complex in San Pedro Bay of peace with nearly 2km of beach with grey sand. It's not suitable for swimming because it's dangerous, but this resort has one of the largest swimming pools of Chile where it is possible to practice sailing sports ...
    Hotels in Pucón
    Complejo Turístico El Lleuque
If you want to feel like European settlers in Chile, visit this town with a blackberry tart smell in winter and sport on the slopes of the Villarrica volcano, but if you prefer to enjoy a non-stop summer sunrise or going out for an excursion, this is your destination. Hiking, climbing a volcano, rafting, natural hot springs, zip line and even a natural rock slide, to walk the banks of the River Plata; afternoons riding, walks through craft markets for leather and wood and a casino, it will keep you well entertained during the day and night. To sleep I recommend camping in The Llueque, 12 km. from Pucon and very easy to get around by bike. And when you go to the black sand beach of Lake Villarrica, look for a man with a hat, to try the best Chilean milk.
    Youth Hostels in Santiago
    Happy House Hostel
When we were all in Santiago we stayed at this hostel. It has both private rooms with their own bathrooms and others which don't, but you still sleep. It is very well located since it's near the center of Santiago and a few blocks from the Metro station "Los Heroes". A selling point for this hostel is the design of all its facilities and yard. A con is the breakfast which came with the room with private bath was supposedly free but was very bad. When there was juice the glasses were not there and vice versa. They didn't have coffee either, but if they did it probably would have been instant coffee and not the same. In addition, the prices were too high to be a hostel, so I think if I were to return I would look for another hostel in Santiago. However, I admit that the atmosphere was very striking and very spacious.
    Hotels in Isla de Pascua
    Cabanas Christophe
Cabanas Christophe is a wonderful place, offering a beautiful view of the sea. It is situated far away from the bustle of the city, but it is just a few minutes drive. Christophe has lived for many years on the island and there is no better guide. They welcome you into their huts as if you were a friend. It makes you feel at home. The breakfasts are very complete with milk, juice, coffee, tea and cheese and ham rolls. Enough to undertake such interesting cruises and discover the wonders of Easter Island. It is not like the usual tours. Christophe has patience, he waits for you and fits into your schedule. Totally recommended.
