Are you wondering where to stay in Sao Paulo? Thanks to the expansion of the city's business center, the network of Sao Paulo accommodations is extensive, and the city is well-equipped to receive thousands of visitors, whether they are traveling for business or pleasure.
Finding places to stay in Sao Paulo is relatively easy, as there are hotels in Sao Paulo in all of the major areas. There is something for all tastes and budgets, with great Sao Paulo hotel deals available. Many Sao Paulo hotels include pools, spas, and other extras.
If you are looking for cheap lodging in Sao Paulo, it's best to ask about the inns and hostels in the city. They usually have large and clean rooms, and the service is often nice. If you're traveling with a group of friends these options are a good choice because you can share your room. It is also possible to find apartments for rent although this option is more complicated. During the high season it can be difficult to find good Sao Paulo lodging, so be sure to search well in advance before making your booking. Use minube, and you can find places to stay in Sao Paulo from 50 euro a night for hotel rooms!
The other day someone asked me about safe and cheap neighborhoods. I remembered that in São Paulo there are many Formule 1 hotels, there are 5 in total in the city center, (Jardins, Morumbi, Paradise, Paulista). All are large regions and located close to public transportation (either the subway or bus). I particularly recommended those in Paradise and Paulista. This is the new center of the city where you can find most of the bars and restaurants. It is one of the safest areas of the city, with buses going to all parts of the city and there are also metro lines available. I ordered a room for 3 people and it cost me $ 119 (or U.S. $ 51/night). If you prefer to find something cheaper then you can book into this hotel for a few days and search for family hotels near Hospital Street Benefiência Portuguese Maestro Cardim. They are cheap hotels that are not on the internet and are sought primarily by families who come from other cities who come here because of the hospital.
Good service, good breakfast buffet, little tourist info, very cozy and quiet. I wasn´t missing anything, but it also didn´t strike me. It has free wifi and many TV channels in the case that you want to have an afternoon watching tv.
Located in Vila Madalena, this hostel has been designed to offer maximum comfort to its guests. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a bar that offers movie nights and happy hours, a kitchen, free wifi throughout the building, guitars and a range of other facilities to help you feel at home. Besides all this, there's a cooked breakfast on offer that's regarded as one of the best in Sao Paulo. You can pay $ 35 for a room with eight people, $ 39 for a room with six or $ 43 for a room for four. A double room costs $ 100 and a bedroom with a private bathroom, $ 120.
We stayed in this hotel to attend a wedding in Sao Paulo. The hotel is generally quite good, close to the Ibirapuera shopping centre (on the next block). For me the only drawback was that there was no nearby metro stop. The room was great, and there were plenty of options for breakfast. There's a smoking floor, but I was happily on another floor, far away. You need to use your room key to operate the lift. A great experience.
The Tryp Guarulhos is located in Guarulhos, Brazil. This old city is just six kilometers from Guarulhos International Airport. Located in the city center, this hotel is near the University of Guarulhos and numerous shops and restaurants. The hotel offers plenty of services and amenities for leisure and business travelers. There is a business room that holds up to 700 people, a business center with audiovisual equipment and space for exhibitions.
This is perhaps one of the best options for inexpensive accommodation in the city of Sao Paulo. It has a great location, surrounded by leafy gardens, relatively near Trianon Park and close to the Avenida Paulista. You can walk to the Ibirapuera Park, too. Nothing very fancy, but a fine, functional hotel. There was no refrigerator in the room, and internet service and breakfast are not included in the price. The daily rate is fixed, so if 3 people stay in one room, they'll pay the same as 1 person. I've stayed there twice, and have never had any problems: good service, there's a bus stop and taxi rank opposite the hotel, and several dining options nearby.
Pauliceia Hostel is very well located and is very welcoming. It is a delight to stay there. Each room is themed after a different Sao Paulo neighbourhood, and decorated accordingly. The rooms are super clean, and the house has a solarium where you can socialise with other travelers, as well as a bar for caipirinhas and other drinks.
This is a nice hotel in Sao Paulo with a great location, next to the Plaza of the Republic. You can take the metro everywhere, or go on foot, and the bus from the airport stops nearby. Good service, good breakfast. They have a gym, and offer great rooms with hairdryer and refrigerator. I highly recommend this hotel.
The Hotel Intercontinental in the city of Sao Paulo is a luxury hotel, with all the amenities you could ask for; excellent services and spectacular design. It is located right next to Ibirapuera Park, and some rooms have great views overlooking it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with kettles and hairdryers. The foyer is very modern, and the restaurant is wonderful. It is popular with business travelers, but there's still a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable environment, with great service. The hotel also has a pool, spa, and gym.
This is an ecological inn located on the southern edge of the city of Sao Paulo. I've celebrated by birthday here twice, and have always been very well-treated by the staff and the owner. There are several rooms, six pools, two water slides, a football pitch, trails and green spaces. A good base to visit the waterfall and other local attractions.
The room was nice, divided into a living room and bedroom. There's a TV, so one person can watch the TV in the living room without bothering the other in the bedroom - perfect! It also has a microwave and refrigerator. There's a subway nearby, but if you're feeling lazy, a bus will take you right to the subway stop.
This was the best hotel that was recommended to me for a few days in the city of Sao Paulo. It is located two blocks from Avenida Paulista, very close to the subway station. You have to walk a little, but not too much. In the morning, the restaurant is very varied and tasty, with plenty of natural fruits, etc. A good room, divided into living room and bedroom, and with a great hairdryer, far better than the standard hotel hairdryers.
This house is located in the neighbourhood of Pinheiros, a great choice if you're spending the night in the city of Sao Paulo. Its price is somewhere between a hostel and a hotel. It's beautiful and comfortable, with easy access to the major tourist parts of the city. And, if you see anything you particularly like as part of the decor, you can take it home with you - everything is for sale!
This is one of the most sought after apartments in the region of Moema. It has a great location, near the main streets and avenues of the city. In the neighbourhood, there are plenty of options for choosing restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, as well as the Ibirapuera park, with entertainment and shopping options. You'll find a pool, gym, tennis court, and gourmet facilities, in addition to a space with a barbecue, sauna, valet service, and a monthly washerwoman. The apartment is fully furnished, with a kitchen, closets, and balcony.
I'm not much for staying at a hotel, but this time I was very close to Avenida Paulista, so I stayed in this hostel and enjoyed all my stage due to bathroom cleanliness. It's been open four years and there's a Norwegian guy who is always helpful and speaks Portuguese. I was in a mixed room and my cupboard fit my average suitcase. The morning coffee was nice for a hostel (at least from what I hear) with coffee, white and brown bread. Oranges to squeeze, fruits and jam and butter. There is a private room for couples, but the bathroom is outside. A perfect location, two blocks from Paulista and away from the Trianon-MASP metro and brigadier. It's behind the Teatro Gazeta (in the direction).
