Located in the municipality of São João Mata, on the north coast of Bahia, the Costa do Sauipe is one of the main tourist destinations in Brazil. The resort offers plenty of options for fun, entertainment, culture and sports for all ages. To ensure that its national and international visitors feel completely comfortable, the resort has five hotels and five senior lodges: Premium Sauipe, Sauipe Club, Class Sauipe, Sauipe Park, Sauipe Sauipe Fun and Inns. A total of 1564 apartments are available, and besides the offer of accommodation, entertainment and nature, Costa do Sauipe is the only resort in the country that has extensive infrastructure for conventions, with total capacity up to 3,200 people.
For children, there is the Sauípe Kids - an area of 4,000 square meters with capacity for up to 800 children from 4 to 12 years. And of course if you want to relax you'll have no problem, with 20 pools, 24 bars and a large sports center with a golf course with 18 holes, 15 tennis courts, spa, sports courts, and a nautical zone. All the Complexo do Sauipe is located in an Environmental Protection area that preserves kilometers of mangroves, salt marshes, dunes, rivers, freshwater lagoons, coconut groves and stretches of the Atlantic Forest. It's the perfect place to relax with your family and enjoy a taste of paradise!
Victor and Jess are two Spaniards who came to Boipeba on "Ticket to Brazil," a reality show where the challenge was to rebuild an abandoned inn and make it work. The won, and have continued with Luar das Aguas, a charming inn opposite the beach. It has a beautiful waterfront restaurant and a few rooms surrounding a lovely internal courtyard. The best thing about it? It's just ten steps from the sea.
When we arrived at Salvador, we took a taxi from the airport; it cost 107 dollars to get to the hotel. It's a 5-star hotel located in one of Salvador's main streets, halfway between the city centre and the beaches. In general, it's quiet, with beautiful views and great services (pool bar, restaurant, room service ...). The ideal place to go for your holiday.
Located in Pelourinho, Salvador's most central neighbourhood, in an old yellow house, hence the name. The roms are spotless, some with a jacuzzi, and the breakfast is delicious. Try to get here on a Tuesday, when the neighbourhood is full of concerts, and the nearby church - the Igreja de Nossa Senhora do Rosario dos Pretos - holds its famous celebrations.
This hotel is located near the beach of Barra, in a quiet street. There's no sign outside, so it's easy to miss. It has a few private rooms, but the majority are shared, with between 9 and 15 beds. One flaw: no air conditioning, only fans. Breakfast and linen are included, and they also rent out swimsuits. There's a nice area to eat at the back. It has wifi, and a very friendly staff. A night in a dorm costs about $30.
This is one of the most charming hotels in Pelourinho, in an excellent tourist spot. The decor is refined and tasteful, with plenty to please even the most demanding customers, with a sauna, jacuzzi, games room, and more. The rooms are spacious at good prices, with air conditioning.
The owners are prolific travelers, and have a shop where almost everything they sell is imported from Bali. The hotel has a lovely Asian-style decor, but the best thing about it is the breakfast of homemade pastries, fresh juices, and stuffed tapioca. Delicious!
Convento do Carmo is situated in Salvador, 600 meters from the Lacerda Elevator, 1 kilometer from the Mercado Modelo, 8 kilometers from the historic heart of Salvador. It has a gym, a pool and complimentary use of a gym off site. Rooms have beds dressed with Egyptian yarn, internet access and minibar.
For 9 days I stayed at this resort, very nice, cozy, tasteful, full, the beach access was excellent as well as service.-Prices were good.-A critique is limited language skills of staff, in general there were only Portuguese speakers, so with tourists (Argentine, Spanish, Italian, French) it was a bit difficult to make us understand.-One flaw that must be corrected.
