Beaches in Carboneras
Los Muertos Beach
Los Muertos Beach is in Carboneras (Almería), Spain. This beach has superb quality waters that are always ready for you whenever you're ready to go down the narrow stairs, because if you spend a few hours enjoying one of the best beaches on the coast of Almeria you'll have to be prepared with an umbrella and a mini fridge because there's no beach bar or anything to eat at that offers shade and something cool to drink. The bedrock gives you some natural shade, but unless you wake up really early it's always busy.

Mesa Roldán´s Lighthouses
Mesa Roldan Lighthouse is in a privileged location, on a hill that overlooks a large part of the coast of Almeria. Nearby is a watchtower, also a constant on the Andalusian coast. It was built in 1863, with a tower of 12 meters and a focal plane height of 222 meters, which together with a powerful lighting system gives a range of 23 nautical miles (+ or-40 km). You can see a video with all the lighthouses of Almeria at http://www.Minube.Com/usuario/vagamundos/video/1218
Hiking in Carboneras
Cabrera Saw
Cabrera Saw separates the people of Mojacar and Turre. In these mountains you can find almost paradisaical places like the renovated Moorish villages and palaces that are incredibly beautiful. It's the perfect place to lose yourself in an SUV, not so much so that you lose yourself as you're walking because if you don't have enough water you won't be a happy camper. The views, despite the numerous fires that have ravaged the area, are unbeatable.

The Argamasón
The Argamasón is a hamlet which is situated in the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Nijar and is famous for its architecture with white walls and terraces. There is a watermill whose stones were moved by the waters of the river. The large clip seen in one of the photos is what they used to lift the grinding stones and go over the ends with a hammer and chisel and, by constant use, they were worn down. During a conversation I had with a longtime local resident whose house is situated on the edge of the mill, he told us that he does not want to leave the village because it is very peaceful. He told us that his entire working life he has travelled all over the countryside to sell the fruits of the land they cultivated, lying down to rest at one in the morning, after feeding animals and then up again at five o'clock to resume the tasks, from one day to the next.

La Terraza Carboneras
After spending a few days in this quiet Andalusian village, we came across this terrace. It is situated in Sanchez Square. They offer toast with different toppings so you can enjoy something to eat something on the quiet terrace. It is decorated with candles and they play good music. It´s a good place for a quiet drink. My girlfriend says that the mojitos are very good
