Time has left its mark and it makes you feel in another world, a place that seems infinite, a place to dream. It is the second time I have been to this place and this time I did it on a motorcycle. It's very natural and magical. The photos were taken with an analog camera, a Pentax K1000.
St. Augustine was inhabited between the first century BC and the tenth AD, by various indigenous cultures who practiced various cults, especially funeral, and left numerous archeological pieces in the form of statues, stone carvings and petroglyphs sarcophagi with human and animal drawing.
Every year in June, in a city in Colombia, they celebrate the sampedrina for 10 wonderful days. People from all over Colombia and the world come to visit and get involved in this folk festival. There's also local music, international dance shows, as there are shows where you can sample delicious roast Huila, cupcakes, achira yaguareño, fresh cheese, etc. ALL ROADS LEAD HERE, GO!
A kiosk was my refuge from the vastness of the stars that could be seen in the broad sky. On the horizon the shadows of the silent city, its still life reflected from the distant lighting up the sky brown. It is a desert that has spectacular scenery, perfect weather and make the perfect picture.
On the road that leads to Palermo Neiva, before reaching the town, we turned away and began the search for the unnamed farm. After questioning many people, who were all very friendly, a German Shepherd lead us onto some paths that seemed impossible - incredibles slope in the middle of the jungle. But eventually we found a great position to see the waterfall. A little piece of paradise.
Hi, I traveled to silver Huila, in search of a graphic report of child laborers, and while traveling, I found this place. It's the view of a farm where several single mothers or victims of domestic violence, are gathered by counsel who created a way to boost its economy and help them to "pull their families out of trouble" .. I loved this place! I simply lost myself in it!
These are the places I like to visit to get away from reality and enter a world where I can find myself again. It's also where I can enjoy a beautiful and amazing scenery that makes me dream I could be there forever.
During my days of traveling, I found an interesting place that also offered medicinal properties. It is a cascade of sulfur, which helps heal wounds and some skin diseases, water is cold and dense ... It's precious, relaxing and a great escape.
This place is a bit hidden, but after a long walk along the same path to school we left they gave us as a general guide of where we needed to go. Not long after we made it to the Bejuco Spa. It's a farm like any other but it's in a rough place, with its freshwater mogollas intricate waterfalls. the most important is a few feet away, its mythical cave by the name speaks like a tiger without dwelling in that cave. the rest is for you to enjoy if they want to visit.
