These mountains, just on the border of the Czech Republic and Slovakia, are one of the most touristic areas of Poland. It is obvious this is one of the most beautiful regions in the country and therefore they couldn't do anything but cater to the large number of visitors, mostly Slovaks, Czechs and Poles, to allow them enjoy themselves without any discomfort. In the surrounding villages there are many good restaurants with a lot of accommodation for tourists, "still" at a really cheap price (until Poland adopts the Euro as the national currency it is a good holiday destination as things are cheap), this is another thing, ... for sure! When you get "the euro". This is just a small corner, a beautiful corner of course, of the thousands that can be found in this chain of mountains, in the Sudete range. I could not film everything of course, but I clearly remember the hundreds of wonderful sites I saw in the three days I spent in this area, with my very great friend Assa, what a woman. I send you my respects and my greeting.
On the way to Katowice from Skawa Pieskowa we could still enjoy those flashes of legendary and indigenous culture each country has in its interior and that the people themselves do not realize are theirs alone until they leave their own country. That's why, my great friend Assa, asked if in Spain the milkman came to the front door to leave the barrel of 15 liters of milk and take it away empty. Then asked me what color we paint the doors in Spain when there is a single person living there??, My answers were just teasing of perplexity, denoting single surprise and astonishment when I heard something. Well in this journey where we stopped to see one garden after another, since some were in the first division, I find that thanks to God in this very modern world in which we live, all local customs are not yet extinct.
