Bear Cave is a tiny place, but I assure you that you will never have better tapas in your life. There is a table filled with delicious pates and cheeses, but the real specialty is Steak sandwiches with pepper sauce and almond. It is Terrific!
It was called the Butcher's Square until it was installed in 1894 and Fernando florist step to be Plaza de las Flores. A good thing to do here is to take a snack and gaze at the wide variety of flowers, I recommend visiting in spring, is a place very bright and very pretty.
The cafeteria is attached to the sanctuary in the photo which shows the descent to it from the sanctuary and the beautiful landscape of Murcia. The price is affordable, it's very quiet and offers grilled tapas. I recommend going with a book and a queue tail and be sure to spend plenty of time admiring the landscape.
In the Manga del Mar Menor (meaning "The Sandbar of the Minor Sea"): fish, fresh seafood and rice’s in a pleasant spot overlooking the sea and the Faro de Águilas (Eagle lighthouse). Their specialties are their rice’s and among them the arroz a la piedra (rice made with stones from the sea). The marine decor resembles the inside of a boat. Friendly and correct service.
Restaurante El Patio is a small place on a street corner in the center of Murcia, close to the Rex Cinema. This area is known as "Las Tascas" and is Murcia's best area to go out at night. It is a very welcoming place, especially for dinner - not much luxury but good food, good service and good prices. I personally recommend their cheeses and wines.
What a blast, a brasserie with archaeological remains. Super caring, with history and with super cold beer. I don't remember a place which so much care to detail. Do not miss the bathrooms that hide interesting surprises. I was astounded when the owner told me it took nine years to get it ready.
A place to be recommended. You eat well, it has good prices and is friendly. Was looking for a romantic place and I got it, the site is amazing, great house treatment of exceptional bartenders and prices according to the site required for the service you get.
It is very close to the historical center, has sensational tapas, and most of the tapas are pretty strong. Do not forget to try the scrambled eggs with mushrooms, garlic and mushrooms or little trees, as they are great. Since this place is also within walking distance of the bars area known as "the bars", be sure to check out the tiny bars with the college environment and varied musical environments.
The Area Sunset restaurant is a multiple use area situated on the beach in Mar Menor in the Pedruchillo area. It has a place where you can eat a la carte things or snacks, dinner, or just have a drink and enjoy yourself on the sensational terrace overlooking the beach and just chill out. We enjoyed the chill out zone, where the atmosphere is fantastic and the cocktails are top notch, especially if they're accompanied by one of the spectacular sunsets that you can see from there. It should be noted that the staff is very professional and the quality/price ratio is good. A sidenote: For anyone who's interested, the restaurant hosts weddings on the beach.
This spot is one of the most popular coffee shops located in one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Murcia (Barrio del Carmen). It has two locations: one on Princess Street and another in the square Camachos. It specializes in meat pies and pasties, plus sweets typical of Murcia. It is a great spot for a snack if you are passing through the area. I highly recommend it.
This restaurant in the heart of Murcia has been renovated in recent years but has not lost its warmth or its reputation for delicious grilled meats and other specialties. Reasonable prices and good service. You will not go hungry.
Murcia is well-known for being a city of tapas par excellence. Here you can find endless varieties of tapas of meat, vegetables, and seafood. The Marinera, a type of bagel served on a potato salad, is one of the most popular in Murcia, and it is beautiful in the Cafeto. You'll find the Cafeto in the Paseo Alfonso X.
Viena is one of the best traditional cake shops in Murcia. Situated in the old historic area of the city, it has been opening its doors to customers since the eighties. Specialties include sweets from Murcia and the Easter cakes. Trying any of their products is an experience.
I found this place thanks to some co-workers, and honestly, I love it. The atmosphere, the food, the waiters are very nice ... Do not leave without trying the cheese salad and tenderloin strips with honey mustard sauce! ummm! delicious.
Definitely the best restaurant in Murcia. Premium food - vegetables, meat and fish of the day. We go there every Saturday for dinner ... croquetas, artichokes with ham, sirloin, etc ... highly recommended for anyone visiting Murcia.
Las Jarras is a tavern where the food is more important than the décor. It is in "the bars" area of Murcia. It's a small place that at peak times is usually packed. I'd recommend trying the famous "Reclutas", they are very spicy but really good. They also have other specialties like tigers, Adam and Eve, the serranitos ... all at a good price.
I'm a regular customer, and I've noticed that this restaurant has been renovated because of the financial crisis. Nowadays it has a number of tapas that are quite different from the normal selection you'll find in most restaurants, such as "la gamba loca" (the mad prawn), a prawn wrapped in cheese and courgette, battered and deep-fried, or "capirotes siglo XXI", peppers stuffed with sausage and breaded. There are also a number of economical deals, like the seafood sharing platter for two. Not bad.
