Midelt is a villgae on the road from Fez, through the Middle Atlas to Merzouga. Because of its situation, it is a regular stopping place to eat, as it is the middle of the path. In the main street, there are places where you can have tagine or roast lamb. They are many meat stalls to buy what you want, and cooked in many different ways. The people are very nice, and the places also invites you to enjoy a meal while waiting

The Café Restaurant Ziz Valley is one of those places where everyone likes to pass the time and reflect on their experiences. Very near Errachidia, in the N13 road we found a large tent on a vast esplanade that leads to a huge cliff where a beautiful valley. It can be tough to find places that you really like while traveling. It Doesn't always end up happening but sometimes you find places like this. A place to sit quietly for tea or coffee at the edge of a cliff watching the huge palm is lost at infinity along the valley. The Ziz Valley Café Restaurant is a place to enjoy a relaxing drink with spectacular views or products of the earth take for the road or as souvenirs. A specialty to try here is the sweet fig. It is ideal for the way when not even have time to stop to eat. It is a good snack to hold you over for a few more hours on the road. It is one of the most visited places in the area as most travelers visit other valleys as Todra or Dades Rosas found in the desert. If you come out this way, you must stop at this place for a bit to pass the time.
