Hello! Over the long weekend in December 2010, we spent some days in Toulouse, a city that although it was French, was quite friendly! students, tourists ... and cold, but it seemed like a welcoming city! We decided to go to dinner one day at a restaurant that had a queue the entire day ... we didn't know what they served (although from the name one could imagine) but we decided to wait in line and try it out. You go in and they ask for your drink order and what type of meat you want: that's it, the rest is fixed, a salad with lettuce and nuts and the famous steak with secret sauce, even though the peppery taste was apparent, not to mention I found a lemon seed. They give you everything on a metal tray with a metal resistance and a couple of candles in order to keep the plate hot and they give you a lot of fries on the plate (if you run out they offer you more). It was delicious ... but the desserts ... mmm. The chocolate cake I ordered was so good ,'fondant au chocolat', the best chocolate cake I've ever tasted! Good value for your money, very good! It came out to about 23 euros each if I remember correctly, we drank water for free! It's a chain restaurant, there's one in most French cities if not more places, but worth it!
This was a small and intimate restaurant, located in the basement of an old building in a small street in this beautiful city of Foix, very near the border of Pas de la Casa. We were given a table next to the window, the best in the house. The place was packed with cheerful families on the Sunday. The affordable menu consisted of terrine (homemade pâté de Campagne), thighs nicely spiced duck, and pork stew. The apple pie with custard for dessert was lovely. A nice place to stay and I'll have fond memories of this place.
This is a restaurant that offers specialties made with products that come directly from the farm. Located in a corner a little lost from Goujounac, this restaurant is definitely worth it for the quality and above all, the amount of dishes in the menus. There are 3 menus, including wine (€ 14, € 22 and € 27) with the good food! We can ask for: tempura soup, salad gizzards, "foie gras" and then comes the dessert before the main course and cheese. I recommend you visit this cozy place where gourmets can enjoy the cuisine of the country and the luxury of first class products used in the making of the dishes.
Great restaurant in the town of Bagneres de Bigorre. A mix of traditional French cuisine from the mountains with Italian food. The venue is easily accessible, just off one of the main squares of the town. The service from staff is very good, and the kitchen is located inside the seating area, so you can watch as they cook the food. A great variety of typical mountain food is available, and there is excellent cheese. Everything is delicious and cooked with care. I recommend it.
The ladies of the city come here with shopping bags, for a tea with a slice of cake or a snack. It's a classic tea room with a nice terrace overlooking the apse of the cathedral, now under construction. The "moelleux to chataigne" is interesting, and it's better to share the pancakes.
Beaucoup is one of the best places for brunch in the center of Toulouse. For just about 17 euros you can eat a delicious savory dish of your choice (eggs, ham, raw or grilled mixed vegetables, baked potatoes, puff pastries, etc.) with a sweet homemade dish like pancakes with maple syrup, yogurt, pastries with jams, and more. Brunch is served from 12:00 to 16:00, Saturdays and Sundays. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
This restaurant offers appetizing dishes of French cuisine, professionally served with style. The kitchen uses intense flavors and natural ingredients, resulting in stylish presentation. The setting is luxurious and the atmosphere is ideal for enjoying a special meal.
Do not be fooled by the the word Coffee in the name. We walked in completely by chance, but the Blue Moon is a full-fledged restaurant, with a small and somewhat soulless outward appearance, but offers reasonably priced meals (the lunch menu ranges from twelve to seventeen euros ) Local and casual atmosphere and good service. The Best Part: A very wide selection of draft beers. The Worst Part: The terrace is always crowded.
