    hilton dublin kilmainham hotel
    Hotels in
    Dublin
The Hilton Kilmainham Hotel is located a little outside the city of Dublin, so it's not the best option if you want to visit the city centre. It's an area with a lot of traffic, so unless you're travelling outside of peak hours, it can be difficult to move quickly. But there are several interesting attractions nearby - Kilmainham Gaol, one of the country's most interesting historical landmarks, where famous patriots were imprisoned, and the museum of modern art. About 10 minutes walk away, you'll find the Guinness Brewery. The hotel is mostly aimed at business travelers, though, with nine conference rooms, internet and secretarial services. The hotel has decent prices, probably because of its distance from the centre: the price for a night starts at 105 euros for a double room, 115 with breakfast for two people.

    temple bar apartments
    Apartments in
    Dublin
The Oliver St John Gogarty hostel is in the center of Temple Bar, one of the liveliest places in the capital. It is not just a hostel, there's also a bar downstairs which gets full every night, features live music, and has an amazing atmosphere. Yes, the bar makes a lot of noise and you can hear the music in the rooms until late on Saturday nights. If you came to rest, this isn't the right place. A night in a shared room goes for 19 euros per night, and is shared between 10 people. If you're a couple, there are double private rooms with bathrooms which costs only 45 euros per night for the weekend. They also have a few apartments for rent, each with up to 3 bedrooms for 6 people. Prices are per weekend or midweek, and three rooms ran us about 300 euros, not bad for Dublin which is one of Europe's most expensive capitals. The hotel is noticeable from a distance and has a colored façade, decorated with flags of many countries.

I came here during my erasmus stay in Sligo. One night we went to dinner at the Clarion Hotel Oriental it was a restaurant where one of my Spanish friends from the group worked. I recommend trying the duck, because it is excellent. After dinner, we gave a flower to each of the girls who were there. It was a pretty fun night.

    travelodge stephens green hotel
    Hotels in
    Dublin
The Travelodge Stephens Green is a small hotel, or I suppose you could call it at "boutique hotel," a trendy term to simply say that customer care comes first (as it should). The prices are not very high (90 euros for a double room) and it's a five minutes' walk from the Cathedral of St Patrick. There are a total of 41 rooms, a bar and a restaurant, and for business customers there's a conference room and banquet area. It's not in the best neighborhood in the city, but you're close to all the main attractions and you can reach the Gothic Quarter or Trinity College in about 15 minutes. Wireless internet is available throughout the hotel and there's an underground parking lot. The decor in the rooms isn't anything special, but you have everything you need (iron, minibar, TV, etc.).

    avalon house
    Youth Hostels in
    Dublin
With beds in a share rooms from 15 euros per night, Avalon House is one of the cheapest hostels in an expensive city. Another good point is that it's on Aungier Street, behind St Patrick's Cathedral and not far from the medieval area. Nightlife is a bit further away, but you shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to get there on foot. To get there from the airport, it's best to take the 16A bus (2euros) which leaves you next to the hostel. It takes about an hour. Prices include wi-fi and a computer if you did not bring your own laptop. In total, nearly 300 people can stay there in the single, double and shared rooms. There is a cafe where they serve breakfast in the morning (included in the price), and that you can use throughout the day for drinks. There is also a pool table and a kitchen to prepare your food. The shared rooms are simple but clean, and the atmosphere is nice.

    Cork
We were there only 4 days, but we were very happy at this B and B in Cork. The rooms are simple but good. The staff is friendly. The impressive breakfast also allowed us to try Irish specialties. The cake, the muffins, bread, even the porridge. The only downside is the hill you have to climb from the heart of Cork, after visiting their pubs: another point of interest of this city that we found very pleasant. Nothing touristic but with a different atmosphere in each pub, where you can find all types of music. We had good weather, not what we thought.

    radisson blu royal hotel dublin
    Hotels in
    Dublin
This Radisson hotel has 150 rooms. It is between Golden Lane and Chancery Lane, off the medieval district of Dublin. Recently constructed, it offers cozy rooms for tourists and businessmen, with wifi throughout the hotel for free. The hotel is close to the station of St Stephen's Green, which is like the gateway city, which is "interesting" for tourists, and almost everything can be seen on foot. If not, St Stephens Green has a bus and tram. There is a French restaurant and an Irish pub. I recommend you go to try a true Irish pub, not a pub in a hotel! The Radisson Dublin is equipped for conferences and corporate events, with 15 meeting rooms and bigger rooms for lectures, equipped with projectors. The rooms can be reserved online, prices start in the low season from 170 euros per night, up to 280 for the suite with breakfast included in the price.

    george boutique hotel
    Hotels in
    Limerick
The George Hotel in Limerick is located on O'Connell Street, the main street for shopping in the city. Since you're on the main street, you can walk everywhere, and besides you are not far from the bus and train station, where you leave the bus from Shannon Airport. The George hotel bears the ancient name of O'Connell Street. Within the hotel are 124 rooms, decorated in a modern decor, and with good views of the city center. The rooms include lots of wood and warm colors. They also have flat screen TVs, a bath and shower, and wireless internet. Prices vary greatly depending on the dates, such as a Saturday in high season can cost 150 euros, and normally a Tuesday, only 70 euros. There are twin, double, King, and suites.

    Dublin
The hotel was fantastic, especially for the price (70 euros with breakfast). It was an unbeatable location and had a public car park opposite the hotel with special rates for guests. But not everything was so easy. It's not recommended if you do not pack earplugs in your luggage. Whatever Monday in November, in the freezing cold, there was a party in the street until 4:30 in the morning. The breakfast was fine. Highly recommended except for the street noise.

    hotel ard na sidhe

    Killorglin
In one of the most beautiful sites you can possibly imagine, is this small, cozy, family hotel. If I were to land again in Ireland, the first thing I would do would be to go down south, back to the Ring of Kerry, where this magnificent four-star accommodation is located, stay a few days there, and then do it all again. I never tire of seeing these landscapes. The hotel has eighteen rooms spread throughout a magnificent Victorian building, on the shores of Caragh Lake, surrounded by lush and colorful forests (if you go after the summer is a spectacle to be seen). It is difficult to find, so before you go make sure you're informed about the directions so that it does not get dark before you get there. You can fish, boat on the lake, hike through amazing landscapes, and the site is the height of romance. What more could you want?

    Limerick
This charming hotel is right in front of the bus station and train from Limerick. Very convenient. The bus from Shannon Airport also stops right in front. From there, you can discover the city on foot, because there's nothing big. The inside is a traditional Irish style, similar to English pubs. The price is 45 euros for a single room, and 80 for a double. Take care on websites of Irish hotels, often advertised prices are "pp", ie per person. Prices include a full Irish breakfast. The rooms have TV, you need to make tea and coffee, and there is parking if required. The hotel has a total of 30 rooms, most with private bathroom. They serve food throughout the day in the small restaurant.

    Limerick
Clarion Hotel Limerick is this great tower that you see on the river Shannon. Incredible views over the city from the higher floors. This four-star hotel is next to the city center, and as the rest of the center is low-rise, it dominates everything. It is shaped like a boat, recalling the time when Limerick was an important fishing port and industry. It is the tallest hotel in Ireland, and the second tallest building, with 18 floors. Been operating only five years. It has a total of 158 rooms, three suites and a penthouse, the most amazing room on the top floor with panoramic views. The rooms have a modern decor, large beds, mini bar, internet, TV and iron. The prices are not high. They start at 85 euros per night for a regular room, and 100 for a King Size. Shannon Airport is an hour by taxi or half an hour by bus away, and the bus and train station a 10 minute walk. Parking near the hotel if you're coming by car.

This hotel was just taken over by the Maldron chain, and is comfortable and modern. It's just five minutes from O'Connell Street, which can be very advantageous. It offers 126 tastefully decorated rooms and the cleanliness is evident. The breakfast buffet is rather bland, but it's still a highly recommended hotel for a night in Dublin.

Although it is difficult to find if you don't have a GPS or a map to guide you, it's well worth the effort. This beautiful B&B run by its friendly owners will give you a pleasant stay in this beautiful city. It has rooms overlooking the bay with a full, not to be missed, Irish breakfast. In short, it's a family-style budget accommodation, with a good location and good size rooms, but a little difficult to find.

    Dublin
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel when he came to visit me during my Erasmus in Dublin. When we saw the pictures on the internet, and fell in love with it. It was quite economical and, not being in a bad location, we instantly reserved it. The hotel is in Lesson Street, just behind St. Stephen´s Green. If you walk from the center, it only takes a bit longer, but the walk along Grafton and O´Connell are worthwhile. Also, there are several buses that you can take to the city center. The rooms are great and include a double bed, TV, fully equipped cupboards and bathroom with a huge bath. The rooms also have a kettle for free tea and a hair dryer! The service was very friendly, and if you like to party, right next door are two of the best Pubs, known for opening until late, but there are entry fees and the costs are a little expensive, but are usually included in the price.

This lodge has a beautiful exterior and grounds are well taken care of, as well as the rooms. For only 55 euros, you get a room and breakfast is included, makign the price very attractive. The breakfast includes everything but hot food items. The dining room is a backpacker type of place and has two kitchens available to customers. There are two spaces upstairs to relax. Free Internet access although one of the two computers would not work. The location could not be better as it is just 100 meters from the entrance to the ruins. If you arrive late you can order pizzas that bring them to the hotel from Drogheda, they are good and cheap, ask the reception, pizzas Mizzoni (medium between 11 and 17 euros, pasta dish 7 euros). hostal neptunes

    Killarney
The best kept town in Ireland, it will give you refuge from the wet winters in the Deep Valley Peninsula (Dingle Peninsula). Landscapes that you can admire from the window of your cabin or from the chosen hostel, I recommend Neptunes, typical Irish in the center. The National Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1982 will offer you opportunities for horseback riding, trekking through its green hills or visiting the last Gaelic fortress, to fall into the hands of the famous Oliver Cromwell. There are low cost flights from Alicante to Kerry in late July, perfect timing to enjoy the summer festival or during the winter months, from Dublin, down to the southwest can be very economical and fast by bus, touring the island on the narrow roads, which invade the urban town centers. Don't leave without your own picture of Ross Castle. Photo: Http :/ / www.Flickr.Com / photos / samyra_serin

    b&b white villa hotel

    Tipperary
We found The White Villa between Cashel and Tipperrary, closer to the former, namely between N 52 º 30.318 and W 7 º 57.730. We were on our way to Cashel, at night and we saw a diversion which indicated the motel. Upon reaching the parking we were about to go but decided to stay. Anyway I stopped and I wanted to see the place because it looked quiet. We were greeted by Peter, he and his wife run this distinctive property. She led me and showed me around the bed and breakfast. The place was like a museum, full of pieces, statues and everything you can imagine. The TV lounge has classical statues and arches that contrasted with the modern and huge LCD TV. The rooms were huge and spotless, the bathrooms were nice. There is a good breakfast. Anyway, for the price, which was less than 50 euros the room it was more than acceptable.

A good place to sleep in Dublin. A great location, right on St Stephen's Green and two minutes from Grafton Street. The rooms have antique furniture and carpeting. Breakfast has several possibilities, including the Full Irish. The downside is that you hear absolutely everything. Overall it is a good choice, just avoid it if you are a light sleeper. Reasonable prices.

The most common thing to do in Ireland is sleep in a bed and breakfast, but if you're traveling on a tight budget, hostels are a good choice, too. None of the ones I visited let me down. In this case, the hostel was huge and for our good fortune, it was just us so I didn't have to share the room. The common rooms were clean and had a couple of kitchens where you could prepare dinner.

    Clifden
If the hostel is full, Aisling House is a great choice for the night in Clifden. The owner is a nice Irish person about 45 years old who talks fast (but clear) and that will give you all the info you want and on what routes, with all sorts of maps and instructions ...Then, if you have a car, he can tell you where to park for "free" and will tell you that if you have a problem in the town do not hesitate to tell him. The truth it is that a rather cozy with a few choices of rooms and even the chance to sleep with the bag in the living room there to share with guests. On the first floor dining room is dominated by a tile trimmed fireplace painted with Czech artist Mucha, or similar ... and is really nice. Of course, breakfast is included and you can choose what you want, if the Irish Breakfast or something else. As you can see, the place is frequented by walkers and young people in general.
