    Hotel Skt Petri
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
St. Petri First Hotel is located just behind the University of Copenhagen. It is modern but fits well into the medieval quarter of Indre By. It is very convenient for visiting the city on foot, and isn't far from the Copenhagen Central Station. Like almost all hotels in the city, you can rent a bicycle to tour around, as well. In the rooms you'll find wireless internet, a mini bar and a flat screen TV. All the details are taken care of, laundry service, designer decor, soft towels, premium bedding .... The hotel has a garden and a jacuzzi, and offer massages at the spa. The restaurant also turns into a bar, and the reception will provide bicycles to explore the city and exchange your money. Rooms from 150 euros.

    Cabinn Scandinavia hotel
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
This is a perfect hotel to stay-in in Copenhagen. There are several of the same chain and they are all very similar. The price-quality value is second to none, and for just 30 euros per night(with the exchange), you can get a room with all the typical amenities. The rooms have maximized space even though they are smaller, which should not be a problem because the only thing you really need from a room in Copenhagen is a place to sleep. For this reason, the beds are good. There can be up to four people in the room with different sizes of bunk beds. There is one on top of the door and the bathroom. The bathroom is also small, but it's private and it has a shower and all the necessities like a hairdryer. The rooms also have a television, a coffee and tea maker, and a coffee table. In addition, the room is cleaned daily and linen and towels changed. The hotel also has a coffee shop, restaurant, parking, internet, TV lounge and bike rental, although this is expensive and it is better to rent them on the street. It will surprise anyone who decides to stay here.

    Scandic Copenhagen hotel
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
Scandic hotel is located in the center of Copenhagen above the Soegade Vester, a large tower from the seventies that dominates the center. The location is the best advantage, but there are charming places not far from the center either. The Scandic offers a whole variety of services for families, such as children stay for free, and you also can rent bicycles free of charge while other hotels charge a fee, there is a gym, a sauna .... Tivoli Gardens are next. Basic rooms with a private bathroom, TV, and one or two beds. Breakfast is included. Prices start at 900 Kroner per night, sometimes less when they make a good deal. The average room price is 1000 kroner, and 1300 kroner for the upgrade.

    Copenhagen
The Palace Hotel is part of the Scandic chain and is located in the town square of the city Radhsplasden. Being in the most exclusive spot of Copenhagen, you can easily explore on foot. The Tivoli Gardens are in front of the hotel and across the street you have the shopping street Strøget ... everything is within an arm´s reach. If you only want to see the inside, you can go to the hotel bar for a drink or for lunch, which is not as expensive as you´d think. For guests that want to stay, there are 161 rooms and only 10 are for smokers. They have a fitness room, two conference rooms, a sauna, and wireless internet included in the price. The breakfast is also included and children who sleep in the parents room are free. Rooms are around 150 euros per night which is reasonable for this city.

    Cabinn City hotel
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
The City Hotel Copenhagen is on Skrams Peder Street. It is a five minute walk from the famous Nyhavn harbor, a beautiful place because you're right next to the sea. You can easily explore the city by foot. Across the channel is the Christianshavn neighborhood and you can borrow a bike from the hotel for free. You can use it all day because the hotel owns about a dozen of them and they do not ask that you return them quickly. The Kongens Nytorv metro is a 10 minute walk. Breakfast is included in the price, and there is a bar as well, but the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. There are five floors in a modern building with 80 rooms, and each cost about 120 euros per night. This is a pretty normal price for this type of hotel in Copenhagen. It belongs to the Best Western chain.

    Scandic Front hotel

    Copenhagen
The Scandic Front Hotel belongs to the Scandinavian chain Scandic, and is located in a very nice neighborhood not far from Nyhavn (the new port, with dozens of restaurants to choose from). The royal palace is nearby too, and the sea is just 200 meters away. This is a new hotel with 132 rooms and restaurant downstairs (breakfast is included in the price). Children can stay for free in their parents' room. For professionals there are three conference rooms, and they also provide free bicycles to discover the city, a fairly common service in Denmark. The hotel has Internet access, ask for the code at reception.

    71 Nyhavn Hotel
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
Nyhavn is located in Copenhagen's touristic neighborhood. It is a little port with low houses of the eighteenth century, colorful and very picturesque. The hotel is number 71 on the port, in an old house that was renovated and now has all the modern comforts. It is a four star hotel, and you can discover the city on foot. It's in a building that was probably a warehouse or customs house, which has an industrial feel. There are 150 rooms and suites, plus a gourmet restaurant. I found the rooms to have much more charm than the other chain hotels that are in the neighborhood. Some have views of the very lively harbor, and there may be some noise from parties at night. There is wireless internet in all rooms. Prices are for 1400 crowns for a regular room, with the breakfast buffet included, and 1700 crowns for the Harbour View, and up to 4400 crowns for the best suite.

    Carlton Guldsmeden hotel
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
Conveniently located across Vesterbrogade Street, Guldsmeden Hotel allows you to take advantage of all the excitement of downtown Copenhagen, from a quiet place. It's part of a modern chain that opened 10 years ago, but that focuses on renovating old buildings like this one. The rooms are decorated in a rustic but elegant style, with plenty of wood and light colours. You'll feel like you're staying with your grandparents! There's internet access, a flat-screen TV with DVD, and a beautiful private bathroom. The hotel is "green", the minibar for example is entirely organic. Everywhere you go, you'll find recycled materials, wood, stone, organic coffee and all the spa products are also organic. The hotel is heated and illuminated with green energy. Prices are from 600 kroner per night, 80 euros. Not very expensive for Copenhagen.

There is not much noise, and you have a park next door. The non-smoking rooms are modern, with a private bath. The rooms have satellite TV with foreign language options, a desk, and you can ask for extra beds for children. The Danish buffet breakfast is included in the price. There are conference facilities for business. The single room is 600 kroner, and it goes up to 750 during the peak season, while a double costs between 700 and 1000 kroner. First Hotel Twentyseven
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
The Hotel Mayfair is a fabulous hotel for visiting the center of the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. Pleasant rooms to relax and get some work done from the heart of the city. It is a perfect place to spend several days in Copenhagen, since you have the most important attractions within walking distance and is well connected with public transportation. In addition, the room has free wi-fi, a fact that is always the highlight of a hotel that offers it and a criticism for one that doesn't. A weak point of Hotel Copenhagen is that it isn't very prepared for families as they do not have cribs for babies. We had to bring one with us. Try to choose a room on one of the upper floors, because on the first floor there is quite a bit of noise from pipes and from the street. However, the highlight of the Hotel Mayfair, in addition to its excellent location, is the edgy and cool decor thanks to icebar. In short, a very avaunt-garde hotel perfect for people who want to thoroughly enjoy the day and nightlife in Copenhagen. Well located in the most interesting area of Copenhagen. Highly recommended.

The Fox Hotel on Jarmers Plads is a basic hotel with a good location for exploring the city. There are 61 good sized rooms, with a private bathroom, coffee, newspapers, and WIFI. In general, the hotels in the city are very expensive, and not always the best quality. Some rooms have been renovated, and as i'ts on a big avenue the noise insulation has also been improved. They offer more services, you can request an iron, a hairdryer, or borrow a bicycle. They can even change money. Prices vary between 1000 and 1200 kroner per night, which a little more than 120 euros.

    Hotel Christian IV
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
The Hotel Christian IV is a five-minute walk from the beautiful Rosenborg Castle Gardens. Copenhagen is a great city and it is easy to see everything on foot or bicycle, the preferred mode of transport of its inhabitants. The hotel is quite modern and has four floors and a restaurant downstairs. It stands in a luxurious neighborhood full of government buildings and embassies. There aren't a lot of dining options, but there is an Italian restaurant right next door. The rooms are 900 DKK for a single room and 1200 for a double (prices including breakfast), a pretty good price for a room in expensive Copenhagen.

A very convenient location just in front of the train station oslo plads ... The only drawback is that you hear the trains because the tracks are right next to the hotel, but at night it's fine to sleep because the train services are shut down. The breakfast buffet was very sufficient and well priced € 8, in relation to the super expensive Copenhagen.

    Hotel Skt. Annæ
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
The Hotel Neptun is part of the Clarion chain. It is a luxury hotel with views across the sea and, on the other side, another island. It is in a quiet, residential area, but just a five-minute walk from the Nyhavn, a touristy port area with lots of restaurants and bars. Rooms cost 900 SEKper night, or a little more than 120 euros. They are comfortable and feature antique decor. The hotel opened in 1854, making it one of the oldest in the city. It was once a meeting point for bohemians and artists, but today it's more popular with businessmen and families. No smoking on site, animals are welcome.

    Copenhagen
The Maritime Hotel is on Skrams Peder Street, near the old port of Nyhavn and the metro stop of Kongens Nytorv. It's a three star hotel that's perfect for exploring the city on foot. The double rooms are between 120 and 150 euros with breakfast, and the triple is 180 euros. Breakfast is a buffet with muesli, ham, and traditional Danish breads and pastries. Reception is open 24 hours. The rooms are simple, in good repair, but I think for this price you can probably find a better hotel in the center of the city. Downstairs you'll find a PC with internet that you can use and they have space to store your luggage if you're going to leave late on the last day.

    Copenhagen Island Hotel
    Hotels in
    Copenhagen
I usually book hotels as close to the city center as possible. The travel agency gave me several to choose from and the Copenhagen Island Hotel was not among the most central, but when I went on their website to have a look, there was something that caught my attention. It's pretty far from the center, about a 20 minute walk, but because it's located on an artificial island literally in the middle of the channel. It's like being on a cruise ship surrounded by water. It is a metaphor for the city of Copenhagen - a small town on the water. Even though it's out of the way, for someone who doesn't want to walk to the city center, it is still well connected by metro. Simply cross the road and the way appears. The hotel is pure design in everywhere. The light is pervasive since all rooms and areas have large windows. The view from the rooms, as you can see, is fresh and relaxing. The service and facilities, in regards to the staff is really good, and the breakfast is based primarily on pastries and bread, with various meats and cheeses, but also marinated herring, salmon and other Nordic delicacies. The umbrella rack at the entrance is key. The sun could be blazing and suddenly it will start to pour, even in the middle of July!!.

    Youth Hostels in
    Copenhagen
This hostel opened its doors in June, but it's part of a hostel chain that already has branches in other major world cities such as London and Dublin. It's spread over six floors - there's a lift, of course, but it's pretty slow, and best avoided at rush hour. Th rooms have bathrooms, and can sleep between 2 - 4 people. The ensuite bathroom is very small, and the decor is minimal to the point that it was hard to find a table. But the location is just fantastic, a short distance from the picturesque Nyhavn. Breakfast is very good, although there isn't much to choose from. At the reception there are two free Internet terminals, and wifi is available throughout the hostel, as well as a free luggage storage service. I recommend this to anyone who wants a central location without spending a fortune ... but don't forget, Copenhagen is hardly a cheap destination!
